Animal Caretaker

Shalev Brandl

Shalev grew up with dog sports. Her grandparents and her mother were already actively involved in training and breeding German Shepherds, laying the foundation for her passion for working dogs. Since 2018, she has been competing with her own dogs in IGP and is deeply involved in training, education, and dog behavior. German Shepherds have been her companions for many years and remain her primary focus to this day.

In addition to dog sports, Shalev gained extensive practical experience working with dogs exhibiting behavioral issues. Among other things, she took in a livestock guardian dog with pronounced socially motivated aggression, and later a Rottweiler that had already been scheduled for euthanasia due to its behavior. Through consistent training and intensive work, she succeeded in making both dogs safe and suitable for everyday life again.

These experiences continue to shape her interactions with dogs to this day.

For four years, Shalev worked in Israel with family dogs, sports dogs, and service dogs, where she deepened her knowledge of practical training. Since 2021, she has been regularly attending seminars on aggressive behavior in dogs.

At the Dog Center, Shalev supports our team as an animal caretaker. She places particular importance on treating the dogs with calmness and fairness, as well as having a good understanding of their individual behaviors and needs.
