§ 1 Scope of application

The General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the temporary care of dogs and all other services provided by the Frankfurt Airport Dog Center (hereinafter referred to as the Contractor) in connection with the temporary care of dogs. care of dogs. § 2 Definition

Dog vacation care is the temporary care of a dog for several days, including overnight stays. Dog day care includes the care of a dog during the day without the dog staying overnight at the dog center.

§ 3 Registration

3.1 Dogs may only be handed in and visited at the dog center during opening hours (Mon. - Fri. 10 am - 2 pm and 5 pm - 7 pm, Sat., Sun., public holidays 12 pm - 3 pm).

3.2 The dog must be registered for a stay at the dog center before the dog is handed in.

3.3 Registration can be made in person, by telephone or by e-mail.

3.4 When registering the dog for dog care, the contact details, the exact travel period, as well as the drop-off and pick-up date of the dog must be stated.

3.5 In the event of an unannounced appearance, the Contractor shall be entitled to refuse to accept the dog.

§ 4 Conclusion of contract

4.1 The care contract is concluded between the owner of the dog (hereinafter referred to as the Client) and the Frankfurt Airport Dog Center.

4.2 The Client assures that he is also the owner of the dog, otherwise he must notify the Contractor of this.

4.3 If a third party has commissioned the support contract on behalf of the Client, the third party shall be jointly and severally liable with the Client for the obligations arising from the contract, provided that the Contractor has a corresponding declaration from the third party. has received a corresponding declaration from the third party.

§ 5 Notification obligations

5.1 The Client undertakes to point out any physical or psychological characteristics of the dog, e.g. social incompatibility, anxious or aggressive behavioral problems, fence climbing, etc., before the contract is concluded. Should the Client fail to disclose such a circumstance, the Contractor shall not be liable for any consequences, e.g. injuries to other dogs, damage caused by the dog, loss, during the care.

5.2 The Client undertakes to inform the Contractor before conclusion of the contract whether his bitch is in heat or will be in heat during the period of care. Should the client fail to disclose this fact, the Contractor shall not be liable for any consequences, e.g. covering the bitch during the care.

5.3 The Client undertakes to inform the Contractor prior to the conclusion of the contract whether his dog requires medical care during its stay at the Dog Center. The Client is also responsible for for ensuring that medical care, e.g. medication, care products or special food, is made available before the dog is handed over. 5.4 The Client also undertakes to inform the Contractor of any operations performed on the dog within 28 days prior to the delivery of the dog. § 6 Services/Prices

6.1 The Contractor undertakes to provide the booked accommodation in a species-appropriate manner and to observe the provisions of the Animal Welfare Act. Should the dog exhibit psychological or health problems, the client or the contact person named by the client will be informed.

6.2 The Contractor shall charge for the accommodation of the dog:

The prices include food and water, as well as a sufficiently large kennel with outdoor facilities for the duration of the dog's stay.

6.3 The Contractor shall ensure that the dogs have free access to the shared lawns during the stay. The client agrees that his dog may be walked there without a leash. The client is liable for all resulting risks, e.g. contact with other dogs, animals and people, escape of the dog, etc.

6.4 Payment can be made by EC card, credit card or cash.

§ 7 Vaccinations, diseases, veterinary costs

7.1 The Client warrants that the dog is healthy and free from infectious or chronic diseases or vermin.

7.2 The client assures that the dog has been vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirosis and rabies. Proof of vaccinations must be provided in the form of vaccination certificates. The verification documents are to be kept of the accommodation with the contractor. If the dog is not vaccinated against the above-mentioned diseases, the contractor has the right to refuse to accept the dog or to withdraw from the contract.

7.3 If the dog is found to be infested with endo- or ectoparasites during the stay, the dog will be returned immediately to the client, owner or a person authorized by the latter (emergency contact). authorized person (emergency contact). If it is not possible to return the dog to this person, veterinary treatment will be provided at the client's expense.

7.4 If veterinary treatment becomes necessary, the client, owner or a person authorized by the client (emergency contact) shall be informed immediately. 7.5 Furthermore, the Contractor assumes no liability for dogs that are not recognizably ill at the time of delivery and the resulting consequences, unless the Contractor can be proven to be at fault in this respect in the form of intent or gross negligence. intent or gross negligence. § 8 Deregistration

8.1 If the dog falls ill before being handed over to the dog care facility, or if it is not possible to hand over the dog for other reasons, the client has the option of canceling the dog up to 6 days before the agreed handover date. cancel the dog.

If the cancellation is made 5 to one day before the agreed delivery date, the client will be charged an amount of 50% of the total price. .

8.2 If the client does not show up with his dog on the agreed delivery date or does not report it until the same day, the client will be charged 100% of the total price.

8.3 If the dog is picked up early, the entire booked period must be paid for.

§ 9 Failure to collect the dog

9.1 The Client undertakes to pick up the dog at the agreed time and within the agreed opening hours at the end of the agreed care period.

9.2 If the dog is not collected by the Client on the agreed date, does not extend the care contract and cannot be reached, the dog will be handed over to an animal shelter selected by the Contractor for placement after 14 days. for placement. Each additional day on which the dog is not picked up will be charged to the client on the basis of the above price list. § 10 Liability

10.1 The Client agrees to bring his dog to the Contractor's dog center at his own risk. The Contractor shall only be liable for damage caused by third parties or dogs in the event of intent and / or gross negligence.

10.2 The Contractor shall only be liable to entrepreneurs for simple negligence - except in the event of injury to life, limb or health - if material contractual obligations are breached. The liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

§ 11 Insurance

The client is fully liable for all damage caused by the dog. The client also assures that a valid liability insurance exists for the dog at the time the contract is concluded.

§ 12 Amendments and severability clause

12.1 No ancillary agreements have been made. Amendments and additions to the contract must be made in writing. This also applies to this written form clause.

12.2 Should individual contractual provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

§ 13 Applicable law, place of jurisdiction

13.1 These contractual terms and conditions and the entire legal relationship between the Contractor and the Client shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of international law.

13.2 The Contractor's place of jurisdiction shall apply to all legal disputes arising from the contract.
